Description:

Matsya is the avatar of the Lord Vishnu in the form of a fish. Matsya is the first avatar in the lists of the ten primary avatars of Vishnu, Matsya is described to have rescued the first man, Manu, from a great deluge. Matsya may be depicted as a giant fish with a human torso connected to the rear half of a fish.

According to "Skanda Purana,( Nagarckhanda, 244. 3-9) & " Praanatoshanitantra (page 348-351)"
The shaligram having shape like a fish with some linear mark marks on the head & tail side with circular marks is known as " MATSYA SHALIGRAM "



Benefit's :

This first incarnation of Vishnu is Matsya or the Fish incarnation. In this form Vishnu saved the Saint Vaivaswata from demons.

Description

Hayagriva is a avatar of Vishnu.He is also called as "Hayasirsa",also spelt Hayagreeva; He is depicted as a human being with a horse's head, and represents knowledge and wisdom. Sri Hayagriva is the SOLE possessor of all Knowledge, Technology and Science. Even Saraswathi, the goddess of learning and 64 arts obtained all her knowledge from Lord Hayagriva. Hayagriva is referred to as the "Horse necked one","Defender of faith", the "Terrible executioner", the"Excellent Horse", and the "Aerial horse".
He is known for rescuing the Vedas from beneath the ocean, where they were hidden by demons.This Shaligram is very lucky for the beholder. All the stuck works starts happening at a very fast pace like a horse. The worshipper of this Shaligrama becomes very energetic and is blessed with all the wordly comforts and immense fortune. Worshipping this Shaligram the devotee gets with immense knowledge , wisdom, confidence, luck and he can take on very bravely any challenging situation through out his life. Hayagriva Saligram is said to be one which having two circular marks and having the shape of the face of a horse with the presence of linear mark on any part of his body .
